Important information
Booking Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how bookings are made through Olton Travel and what you can expect from the planning process. If you have any questions at any stage, please get in touch — I’m always happy to clarify anything.
Olton Travel acts as an independent travel agent, arranging holidays on behalf of selected tour operators and suppliers. Your booking contract will be with the relevant supplier, whose terms will also apply.
Making a booking
Once you’ve confirmed that you’d like to proceed, I’ll secure your holiday with the chosen supplier. At this point a deposit (or full balance, depending on the booking) will be required.
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- Prices are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed and paid.
- Supplier booking confirmations and documentation will be forwarded to you.
Payments
Payment terms vary depending on the supplier and the type of holiday booked. Full details will be explained before you commit.
- Deposits are typically non-refundable.
- Balance payment deadlines will be clearly advised.
- Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation by the supplier.
Changes and cancellations
Any changes or cancellations are subject to the individual supplier’s terms and conditions. Fees may apply, and in some cases payments may be non-refundable.
- Amendment fees are set by the supplier, not Olton Travel.
- Cancellation charges can increase closer to departure.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen changes.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is essential and should be arranged at the time of booking. This should cover cancellation, medical expenses, and any activities included in your trip.
Financial protection
All applicable package holidays are protected under ATOL and/or PTS, giving you financial protection and peace of mind. Protection details will be provided with your booking confirmation.
Responsibility and liability
Olton Travel is responsible for arranging your booking with the chosen supplier. The delivery of travel services is the responsibility of the supplier providing them.
